CNC PROGRAMMER
Qualifications:
- Male Applicants
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Must have experience in Steel Fabrication industry
- Knowledge of Sigma nest software preferable, must have strong attention to detail, Familiarity and Skill with Interpreting Technical Drawings and Blueprints, Skilled at Troubleshooting
- Experience in CNC programming and operation, preferably in a steel fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (such as G-code) and use of specialized software (such as CAD/CAM).
- Strong knowledge of machining operations and cutting tools used in steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Familiarity with CNC machine setup and tooling selection.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and program CNC codes using specialized software.
- Set up and configure CNC machines according to job requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling setups for each machining operation.
- Operate CNC machines to execute machining tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor the machining process, make adjustments as needed, and perform quality checks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any programming or operational issues that arise.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.
- Maintain clean and safe working conditions in the CNC area.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in CNC programming and machining technologies.
