MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years work experience
• Previous mechanical cost estimating experience in a contracting environment
• With experience of delivering tenders from enquiry to award stage is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong understanding of mechanical & process pipework systems, HVAC, plumbing and other mechanical building services systems.
• Good knowledge of different mechanical & process pipework materials

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-dept reviews of tender documents, drawings, specifications, schedules, etc
• Preform accurate quantity take-offs and mark up measured drawings
• Request, manage and evaluate supplier and sub-contractor quotations
• Issue tender queries and RFIs
