Job Location: Mozambique
Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Material Document Controller to manage and maintain material-related documentation for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will ensure that all material records are accurate, up to date, and readily available while coordinating with various project departments to support efficient material management.
Material Document
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in material documentation, document control, warehouse administration, or a related field.
- Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of document control procedures and material management processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and coordination skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial projects is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, file, and maintain material certificates, delivery notes, packing lists, inspection reports, and other material-related documents.
- Prepare and update material reports, document registers, inventory records, and document tracking logs.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Material Controllers, Warehouse, Quality Control (QC), Engineering, and Construction teams regarding material documentation and status updates.
- Ensure all material documents comply with company document control procedures and project requirements.
- Monitor document revisions and maintain accurate records of material documentation.
- Assist in tracking material deliveries, inspections, and documentation for project reporting.
- Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
- Support audits and inspections by providing complete and accurate material records.
- Perform other document control and administrative duties as assigned by management.
