MASSAGE THERAPIST

Qualifications:

• Female applicants are preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Massage Therapist or in a related position.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Practical knowledge of professional massage therapy techniques and procedures.
• Ability to perform quality massage services while maintaining client comfort and satisfaction.
• Good understanding of proper hygiene, sanitation, and safe massage practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, courteous, patient, and customer-oriented.
• Ability to adjust massage techniques and pressure according to client preferences and comfort.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and professionalism.
• Physically fit and capable of performing massage therapy duties for extended periods.
• Able to maintain a calm, relaxing, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and willing to follow company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional-quality massage therapy sessions according to client needs and established service standards.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, concerns, and desired massage experience.
• Select and apply appropriate massage techniques based on the client’s requirements.
• Ensure clients are comfortable, properly positioned, and relaxed throughout each massage session.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and client-focused approach at all times.
• Adjust massage pressure and techniques according to client feedback and comfort level.
• Monitor clients during sessions and respond appropriately to their needs.
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness before, during, and after each treatment.
• Keep the massage room clean, organized, relaxing, and comfortable for clients.
• Properly prepare massage tables, linens, towels, oils, and other supplies before appointments.
• Sanitize and properly maintain massage equipment, tools, and treatment areas.
• Follow appropriate health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain client privacy and professional boundaries at all times.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service before and after each session.
• Recommend appropriate after-care practices when necessary.
• Monitor supplies and inform management when massage products or materials need replenishment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior in accordance with company standards.
• Manage appointment schedules and ensure sessions begin and end according to assigned schedules.
• Work cooperatively with other staff members to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Handle client concerns professionally and refer issues to management when necessary.
• Perform other massage therapy and related duties assigned by management.
