Massage Therapist

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Massage Therapist.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proficient in performing Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, and Therapeutic Massage techniques.
• Ability to assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, muscle groups, and massage therapy principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and client safety.
• Physically fit and capable of performing multiple massage sessions during work shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional massage treatments using various techniques, including:
  • Swedish Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Sports Massage
  • Prenatal Massage
  • Therapeutic Massage
• Assess clients’ health conditions, preferences, and treatment goals before each session.
• Develop individualized massage treatment plans based on each client’s needs.
• Provide professional recommendations for follow-up treatments and wellness care.
• Maintain accurate client consultation records and treatment notes.
• Ensure treatment rooms, massage tables, linens, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and properly prepared.
• Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Observe proper body mechanics and safe massage practices during treatments.
• Maintain client privacy, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Educate clients on stretching, posture, relaxation techniques, and wellness practices when appropriate.
• Monitor client comfort during treatments and adjust techniques or pressure as needed.
• Ensure all massage oils, lotions, and therapy products are properly stored and handled.
• Maintain inventory of massage supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
• Perform other spa or wellness-related duties assigned by management.
