Maintenance Electricians

Qualifications:

• Completion of a technical diploma, certificate, or associate degree program in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field is typically required.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, equipment, and technologies, including power distribution systems, control systems, lighting systems, motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and associated infrastructure.
• Proficiency in inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems, equipment, components, and devices using specialized tools, equipment, instruments, and diagnostic methodologies.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices, regulations, standards, and compliance requirements, such as NFPA 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace), to ensure personal safety and the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems and components.
• Familiarity with a wide range of electrical tools, testing instruments, meters, equipment, and software applications commonly used in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing tasks within specific industries and applications.

Hands-On Experience:

• Field Experience: Relevant hands-on experience in electrical, maintenance, or technician roles, including exposure to maintenance processes, procedures, practices, equipment, tools, and field conditions within specific industries and applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated technical proficiency, practical skills, and competence in performing maintenance tasks, repairs, installations, troubleshooting, and operations related to electrical systems and equipment under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals.
