KBR Services LLC is seeking qualified Lifeguards for deployment to Qatar. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of swimming pool users, enforcing safety regulations, preventing accidents, and responding effectively to emergencies in accordance with company and facility safety standards.
LIFEGUARD
Qualifications:
- Male or Female
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Lifeguard in an international hotel, recreational club, hospitality industry, or similar environment.
- Secondary school graduate or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Must possess good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize potentially dangerous situations.
- Knowledge of swimming pool safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Experience in enforcing safety rules and supervising swimming pool activities.
- Valid certifications in swimming, emergency rescue, first aid, and CPR are required.
- Pool and Beach Lifeguard Awareness Training certification is an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of performing water rescue operations.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming pool areas and maintain constant surveillance of swimmers and pool users.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of club members, guests, and patrons using the swimming facilities.
- Recognize hazardous situations and take preventive measures to avoid accidents and injuries.
- Enforce swimming pool rules, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues and evacuation procedures.
- Administer first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) when required.
- Provide emergency assistance until medical personnel arrive.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool areas, rescue equipment, and safety devices.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety around pool facilities and report hazards immediately.
- Educate swimmers and guests regarding safe swimming practices.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain records of accidents, rescues, and safety observations.
- Ensure compliance with QAFCO safety procedures and swimming pool regulations.
- Participate in safety drills, training programs, and emergency preparedness activities.
