Inspector Site Mechanical

Qualifications:

• Additional training and qualification as quality management.
• Welding Engineer / Welding Inspector (IIW, CWI, CSWIP 3.1, or equivalent).
• Non Destructive Qualifications (RT, UT, MT, PT, Visual Inspector)
• Inspector of Tanks, Pipelines (API 653, API 510, API 570, etc).
• Training and knowledge of International Standards in process engineering, piping,
  ASME I, B31.1, B31.3, B31.8, API 1104, ASME PCC-1, PFI-ES-3, and ASTM, EN, ISO, BS Standards.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Steel Structure and Piping ; Experience in PWHT

Job Description:

• Supervision, checking and acceptance of regulatory tests performed.
• Manage and supervise all Equipment and Pipeline Welding activities of subcontractors, and ensure works are in-line with contract specifications, and company requirements
• To following the application of project quality plan, specifications based on TSK standards and customer requirements, Construction and Start-up.
• Attending to the inspection points at site considered as necessary
• Review the welding procedure specification and inspection requirements prior and during welding.
• Inspect and evaluate welds according to specified inspection procedures, standards, codes, and drawings.
• Check and monitor NDT requirement (Method, qualification of operator, execution).
• Check and monitor bolted pipe joints.
• Check and inspection of pipe supports
• Preparation and revision of test packs, supervision of hydrostatic, pneumatic, in service test.
• Check of flushing and cleaning of piping systems.
• Check of reinstatement works and mechanical completion inspection and documentation.
• Preparation and check of Turn Over Package documentation and Participation in the transfer of construction systems to commissioning.
• Ensuring the work at site of mechanical erection subcontractors.
• Review all related mechanical quality documentation issued by Subcontractors (Inspection Testing Plans, Special Process Procedures, Test Procedures, Material Certificates, Test Reports, etc)
  Including Quality Dossiers of the construction/assembly works and start up.
• Attend and be proactive in the project/ subcontractors’ meetings.
