Industrial Maintenance Technicians (Electrical)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Strong technical background with experience in production industries preferred.
• Electrician licensed or 2-year technical degree in industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred.
• Candidate should have experience and working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding equipment.
• Candidates should have experience and working knowledge of Overhead cranes maintenance with different capacities.
• Ability to learn nomenclature of all assigned equipment, products, and quality standards.
• Ability to learn to identify product defects.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend written material

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance on automated robotic equipment-may include troubleshooting (Conveyors, Motors, Air Compressors, Pneumatic Devices, Compactors, Power Equipment, Printers), machine tools, pumps, bearing, blowers, fans, gearboxes.
• Ability to connect to PLC’s using the maintenance PC system and do basic programming and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining, repairing troubleshooting all machinery and equipment.
• Perform precision maintenance on automated robotic equipment-may include preventive maintenance, general upkeep and daily cleanings.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections perform required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, alignment.
• Ability to diagnose problems for facility and production and facility equipment and make needed repairs and the ability to install new equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and facility equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production and facilities equipment during machine services.
• Ability to work across all two shifts, weekends and holidays as required to accomplish facility and production related tasks.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repairs manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary and repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the production equipment and system in a large industrial environment.
• Day to day coverage of production equipment in assigned area-complete scheduled PM’s, respond to alarms, solve equipment breakdowns and fulfill production requests efficiency to minimize downtime.
