AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN/TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Formal basic Aircraft maintenance paint training or equivalent
• Background in aircraft – exterior & interior painting
• Awareness of good housekeeping, spoken and written English, knowledge and use of Manuals, Awareness of Health & Safety, Human Factor, Documentation & PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs of Aircraft Paint within the limitations of his trade authorization and under the supervision of an engineer.
• Carry out modification in accordance with the engineering orders’ instructions or manufacturer’s service bulletins under direct supervision.
• Assisting Engineer while carrying out minor / major Paint Repairs.
• Assisting Crew Chief in demanding required spare parts and material through the use of the computer system.
• Accounting and inspection of tools and tester sets in use; booking and returning testers etc. and special tools to tool crib; reporting on their serviceability or unserviceability status.
• Ensure that immediate work area is kept tidy and all waste material is appropriately disposed of, by using drip trays and bins to dispose waste/used material
• Maintaining a good level of housekeeping practices, in the aircraft docks and in the Hangar Shops.
