Qassim University Medical City is seeking qualified and compassionate In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Nurses to join its healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing fertility assessments and assisted reproductive procedures. Responsibilities include patient preparation, treatment coordination, medication administration as prescribed, clinical monitoring, documentation, and support throughout the fertility treatment process.

IN-VITRO FERTILIZATION NURSE

Qualifications:

• Female applicants only.
• Must be a Registered Nurse in the Philippines.
• Must be 24–37 years old.
• Must have a minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.
• The supplied experience requirements specifically mention:
  • EEG and neurophysiology procedures.
  • Sleep apnea unit experience.
• Applicants may apply with or without DataFlow verification and Mumaris eligibility, according to the employer’s stated requirements.
• Good English communication skills.
• Computer skills must be Level III-E, as specified in the vacancy requirements.
• Strong patient-care, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Able to maintain patient confidentiality and follow clinical safety protocols.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of working effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients undergoing fertility assessments and IVF treatment.
• Assist physicians and fertility specialists during consultations, examinations, and reproductive procedures.
• Prepare patients for fertility investigations, treatment cycles, and scheduled procedures.
• Obtain and document relevant patient histories, clinical information, and treatment details.
• Explain prescribed procedures, treatment schedules, and preparation instructions to patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for potential adverse reactions.
• Assist with monitoring patients during ovarian stimulation and other stages of fertility treatment.
• Coordinate appointments, laboratory investigations, ultrasound examinations, and treatment schedules.
• Assist the clinical team during egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and other fertility-related procedures within the nurse’s authorized scope of practice.
• Monitor patients before and after procedures and report concerning symptoms or changes in condition.
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions according to clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, treatment documentation, and nursing notes.
• Coordinate with fertility specialists, embryologists, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection prevention, aseptic techniques, and patient safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment according to facility procedures.
• Support patient education regarding treatment schedules, prescribed medications, and follow-up appointments.
• Provide respectful, compassionate, and confidential care to patients and couples undergoing fertility treatment.
• Respond professionally to patient concerns and refer clinical questions to the appropriate specialist.
• Use electronic medical records and other approved computer systems for documentation and coordination.
• Follow hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Perform other related nursing duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head.
