DAEWOO E&C CO., LTD. is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Hydraulic Crane Operators for deployment to Mozambique. The successful candidate will operate hydraulic cranes safely and efficiently to support lifting and material handling operations within Oil & Gas industry projects.

Hydraulic Crane Operator

Qualifications:

  • Must possess experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Must hold a valid third-party ID/certificate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and NCII certification.
  • Candidates must be aged between 30 and 50 years old.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic crane operations, lifting procedures, and load handling techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and operational instructions.
  • Familiarity with crane safety standards, rigging procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in industrial and construction site environments.
  • Ability to work independently and follow supervisor instructions effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate hydraulic cranes safely and efficiently for lifting, transporting, and positioning heavy materials and equipment.
  • Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Read and interpret load charts and lifting plans to ensure safe lifting operations.
  • Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, supervisors, and site personnel during lifting activities.
  • Monitor crane performance and report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas industry safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, inspection records, and maintenance reports.
  • Ensure proper use of lifting accessories, rigging equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support site operations by performing lifting activities according to project schedules and requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned crane equipment and work areas.
