Head Chef

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate
• 2+ years as a full-service restaurant or kitchen manager
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), strong organization, detail-oriented, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Accountability, clear oral and written communication, honesty/integrity, ethical conduct, time management, stress management, and extensive food safety knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all Back of House (BOH) operations, managing purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food in a timely manner according to established recipes and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with brand, company, and food safety standards. Supervise and participate directly in food preparation and station work. Monitor ticket times, conduct shift line taste/temp checks, and enforce standard recipes. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and achieve passing audit scores
• Lead by example, drive sales through effective shift ownership, and conduct motivating shift alley rallies. Manage inventory, minimize wastage, and maintain budgeted food costs. Analyze weekly reports, submit required documentation, oversee chemical ordering and equipment maintenance, and enforce food safety logs (cooling trackers, truck temps)
• Cross-train and develop BOH employees, supervisors, and managers through coaching, regular one-on-ones, and personal development plans (PDPs). Model the Kitchen Manager routine, oversee succession planning, and maintain team morale

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
