Al-Iman Gasket Factory is seeking an experienced Gypsum Board Installer for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing gypsum board systems, partitions, ceilings, and related interior finishing components while ensuring proper alignment, quality workmanship, and safe working practices.

GYPSUM BOARD INSTALLER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of field working experience as a Gypsum Board Installer, Drywall Installer, or related position.
  • Maximum age: 45 years old.
  • Proven hands-on experience in gypsum board and drywall installation.
  • Experience installing gypsum board partitions, ceilings, wall systems, and interior finishing.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and install gypsum boards.
  • Knowledge of metal framing and support systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with joint treatment, taping, plastering, sanding, and surface preparation is preferred.
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools used for gypsum board installation.
  • Ability to read and follow construction drawings, layouts, measurements, and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction work.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding when required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
  • Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and safety-conscious.
  • Willing to follow company policies, construction procedures, quality requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install gypsum boards, drywall systems, partitions, ceilings, and wall panels according to project specifications.
  • Measure and mark walls, ceilings, partitions, and installation areas accurately.
  • Read and follow construction drawings, layouts, measurements, and work instructions.
  • Cut gypsum boards to the required dimensions using appropriate hand and power tools.
  • Install metal or other framing systems required to support gypsum boards.
  • Secure gypsum boards to framing using appropriate screws, fasteners, and installation methods.
  • Install drywall partitions and suspended or false ceiling systems.
  • Create openings for doors, windows, electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, ventilation systems, and other building services.
  • Ensure boards are properly aligned, level, plumb, and securely installed.
  • Apply joint tape, joint compound, and finishing materials to gypsum board joints and screw holes.
  • Sand and smooth finished surfaces in preparation for painting or other finishing work.
  • Perform repairs and replacement of damaged or improperly installed gypsum boards.
  • Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters, and other trades when required.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure proper fit, alignment, appearance, and workmanship.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in good condition.
  • Handle gypsum boards and construction materials safely to prevent damage and injury.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the installation process.
  • Follow construction site health and safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Report material requirements, installation problems, and other site concerns to the supervisor.
  • Complete assigned installation work according to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform other gypsum board installation, drywall, ceiling, partition, and finishing duties assigned by management.
