Danube Company Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fishmonger to handle, prepare, and sell fresh seafood while ensuring high standards of hygiene, quality, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in seafood handling, cutting, and customer interaction.

FISH MONGER

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants preferred.
  • At least High School Graduate.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a fishmonger or in seafood handling.
  • Knowledge of seafood preparation techniques and tools.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and store fresh seafood according to quality standards.
  • Clean, gut, fillet, and prepare fish for sale.
  • Package, label, and display seafood for customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the seafood section and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including advice on seafood selection and preparation.
  • Monitor inventory, assist with stock rotation, and minimize waste.
