ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as an Electrician.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience working in GCC countries is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions.
• Knowledge of electrical tools, testing instruments, wiring systems, cables, conduits, panels, breakers, switches, and related components.
• Ability to identify electrical faults and perform appropriate troubleshooting and repairs.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on electrical work in construction and project environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other construction personnel.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work under pressure and follow instructions and project deadlines.
• Willing to work in outdoor and construction site conditions when required.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and components.
• Perform electrical installation work according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Install and connect electrical cables, wires, conduits, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and related components.
• Install and maintain electrical panels, distribution boards, breakers, control equipment, and other electrical devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical instructions.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify faults, defects, and unsafe conditions.
• Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing instruments and tools.
• Repair or replace defective wiring, cables, switches, breakers, outlets, fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance as required.
• Check electrical connections, terminals, circuits, and equipment for proper operation and safety.
• Assist with electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades at construction or project sites.
• Perform continuity, voltage, resistance, and other electrical tests using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Identify electrical hazards and immediately report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Ensure electrical installations are properly secured, connected, insulated, and protected.
• Maintain and organize electrical tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Properly handle electrical cables, wires, tools, equipment, and other materials to prevent damage and accidents.
• Assist in locating and repairing electrical faults during equipment breakdowns and operational problems.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other trades to avoid conflicts during installation and maintenance work.
• Follow approved work procedures, technical instructions, and project specifications.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and completed work when required.
• Follow lockout/tagout and other electrical safety procedures where applicable.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow site safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and construction duties assigned by management.
