Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking skilled Electricians to perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and applicable electrical standards.

Electrician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as an Electrician in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of electrical installation methods, testing procedures, and safety practices.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and construction standards.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a project environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring, conduits, cable trays, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation plans.
• Perform electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, and minor repair works as required.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and safety standards.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify defects or potential hazards.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Follow company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at all times.
• Perform other electrical duties assigned by the project supervisor.
