Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies is seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to support the operation and maintenance of electrical systems in industrial facilities, particularly water and wastewater treatment plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems while ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Electrical Technology or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in electrical maintenance or industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Medium Voltage Systems (3.3 kV to 36 kV)
    • Low Voltage Electrical Systems
    • Control Panels and Distribution Panels
    • Electrical Troubleshooting and Maintenance
    • Industrial Electrical Equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot medium-voltage electrical systems ranging from 3.3 kV to 36 kV.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of low-voltage electrical systems and equipment.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in control panels, distribution panels, motors, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical equipment within the facility.
  • Conduct testing, monitoring, and fault analysis of electrical systems.
  • Assist in control panel installation, cable termination, and electrical equipment commissioning.
  • Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and provide technical support to operations teams.
  • Follow company safety standards, electrical codes, and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
