Stellar Recruitment LP is seeking experienced Duct Fitters to join its team in New Zealand. The successful candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, assembly, and maintenance of HVAC ducting systems for commercial and industrial projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has proven overseas experience in duct installation, can communicate effectively in English, and is able to demonstrate technical knowledge of the trade.

Duct Fitter

Qualifications:

• Filipino male, not more than 48 years old.
• Minimum of 3 years of overseas working experience as a Duct Fitter with verifiable employment documents.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Candidates must be able to clearly communicate in English and demonstrate their work experience during the interview.
• Proven experience in duct fabrication, installation, fitting, and HVAC ventilation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment relevant to duct installation.
• With verifiable work experience and employment records.

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and secure HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, fabricate, and fit sheet metal ducts and related components.
• Install duct supports, hangers, dampers, diffusers, grilles, and other HVAC accessories.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and insulation of ducting systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
• Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance of existing duct systems when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following workplace health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
