CAS Recruitment Ltd – Greek Branch is seeking reliable and hardworking Dishwashers to join a professional kitchen and food service team in Greece. The successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, cookware, and equipment while maintaining an organized dishwashing area and assisting the kitchen team with general duties when required.

DISHWASHER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven working experience as a Dishwasher or in a related kitchen or food service position.
• Competent in washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, ceramic dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and cookware.
• Knowledge of operating commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Ability to properly sort, wash, sanitize, dry, and organize different types of kitchenware.
• Knowledge and practical ability in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of refrigerators.
• Competent in cleaning and maintaining deep fryers, grills, and other kitchen equipment.
• Willing and able to assist the kitchen team with general duties whenever available.
• Strong understanding of proper health, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic dishwashing and kitchen area.
• Knowledge of safe handling and proper use of cleaning chemicals, detergents, and sanitation products.
• Ability to inspect cleaned kitchenware and ensure it meets required cleanliness and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor dishwashing equipment and promptly report equipment problems or maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of quality management, quality control, inventory management, and supply monitoring.
• Ability to assist with placing or requesting orders for necessary kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning duties for extended periods.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Reliable, hardworking, flexible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must have a newly renewed passport.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, ceramic dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Load and unload dishes, pots, pans, glasses, utensils, and cookware into and out of the dishwashing machine.
• Sort and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and glassware before washing to ensure efficient cleaning.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Inspect cleaned items to ensure they are free from food residue, grease, stains, and other contaminants.
• Properly organize and store clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean kitchenware for chefs, cooks, servers, and other kitchen personnel.
• Clean and maintain refrigerators and assist with their general upkeep and cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize deep fryers, grills, and related kitchen equipment according to established procedures and safety requirements.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning and support duties whenever free or available.
• Help kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, waste disposal, and other general kitchen tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy dishwashing area, ensuring workspaces are free from debris and unnecessary clutter.
• Clean floors, sinks, counters, dishwashing machines, storage areas, and other assigned kitchen areas.
• Monitor dishwashing equipment to ensure proper functionality and report malfunctions, damage, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation products safely and according to established procedures.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures, including the proper use of gloves and other protective equipment.
• Separate waste and dispose of food debris and other kitchen waste properly.
• Assist in maintaining proper hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Monitor supplies such as detergents, cleaning products, gloves, and other dishwashing materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with inventory management and supply monitoring, including requesting or placing orders when necessary.
• Support quality control by ensuring kitchenware, equipment, and assigned areas meet required cleanliness standards.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and timely availability of clean kitchenware.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude and contribute to effective teamwork.
• Follow company policies, kitchen procedures, food safety requirements, and management instructions.
• Perform other dishwashing, cleaning, kitchen support, and related duties assigned by management.

Salary Package:

• Salary starts at Php 79,000.00 gross monthly more or less.
• 48 Work Hours per week.
• Accommodation will be provided.
• Seven (7) months contract per year, renewable up to 5 years..
