We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie (Hot Kitchen) to join our culinary team in Oman. The successful candidate will assist in preparing high-quality hot kitchen dishes, maintaining food quality standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations in a professional restaurant environment.

DEMI CDP (HOT KITCHEN)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a hot kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or similar food establishment.
  • Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or Hot Kitchen Cook is preferred.
  • Previous experience in bakery, baking, or pastry preparation is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen procedures, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced culinary environment.
  • Pleasant personality with good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
  • Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot kitchen dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Prepare ingredients, sauces, stocks, and other food components required for daily operations.
  • Support the Chef and kitchen team during food preparation and service periods.
  • Ensure proper cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation standards are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hot kitchen area, equipment, and workstations.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and kitchen organization.
  • Work efficiently with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.
