Qualifications:

• TESDA Cookery NC II or Commercial Cooking NC II Certificate
• Food Handler’s Certificate (preferred).
• Able to understand and communicate in English (basic communication level required).
• Knowledge of basic Hungarian greetings or phrases is an advantage.
• Must possess a positive work attitude, discipline, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and portion standards.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Ensure food freshness, taste, and presentation meet company and customer expectations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, utensils, and storage areas at all times.
• Follow food safety standards and comply with hygiene regulations (as required by Hungarian labor law).
• Assist in menu planning, costing, and inventory control as instructed by Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Store food supplies properly and check for spoilage or expiration.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
• Attend daily briefings and trainings for continuous improvement.
• Report to the Head Chef or Manager any kitchen issues, equipment defects, or shortages.
