Jahra Pakistani School is seeking hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaners to help maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly school environment in Kuwait. The successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

CLEANER

 Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial services is an advantage.
• Ability to perform general cleaning and sanitation tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing manual tasks for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Able to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and workplace procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and responsible.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and cooperate with school personnel.
• Willing to maintain a clean and safe environment for students, teachers, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, corridors, stairways, and other school facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
• Dust and wipe desks, chairs, tables, shelves, windowsills, and other surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, washrooms, sinks, toilets, and other sanitary facilities.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage according to school procedures.
• Collect and replace garbage bags and maintain cleanliness in waste disposal areas.
• Clean doors, windows, glass panels, and other accessible surfaces.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, soap, tissue paper, and other restroom necessities as assigned.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, including door handles, desks, railings, and switches.
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged facilities, spills, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Keep cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies properly stored and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, staff rooms, school entrances, and other designated spaces.
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs, including spills and unexpected messes.
• Follow school cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within the required time.
• Observe hygiene standards and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Avoid disturbing classes and school activities while carrying out cleaning duties.
• Protect school property and handle furniture, equipment, and supplies carefully.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor or school administration.
