CHEF

Qualifications:

• Education: At least 2nd-year college level in a culinary degree.
• Experience: 2–5 years in a hotel or fine dining restaurant with a leadership role.
• Training: Completed training and food safety certification.
• Language: Proficient in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent leadership abilities

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and SOPs.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate their duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure that dishes are prepared and presented according to recipes and standards.
• Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment on a regular basis to ensure that they are kept clean, sanitary, and in perfect operating order
• Monitor holding and storage operations, stocking and food rotation, and guarantee food service sanitation standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assure kitchen personnel are trained in best cleanliness and sanitation practices
• Monitoring all Health & Safety aspects within all areas of the kitchen including storage of all foodstuffs, stock rotation, date labelling and
• documentation of temperature controls ensuring compliance with HACCP
