Qualifications

• Relevant Certificate III and 2 years of experience, relevant Certificate IV or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to carpentry work.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry Construction: Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures such as frameworks, partitions, floors, and roofs according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Framing: Perform framing tasks using techniques such as platform framing, balloon framing, and timber framing to create structural frameworks for buildings and other structures.
• Installation of Doors and Windows: Install doors, windows, and hardware, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
