T-Three Projects is seeking qualified and experienced Boilermakers to work on heavy industry, mining, and construction projects in Zambia. The successful candidates will construct, assemble, install, inspect, and maintain boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, piping systems, and related metal structures while following technical specifications, welding requirements, and strict workplace safety procedures.

BOILERMAKER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Boilermaker or in a closely related heavy industrial trade.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industry, mining, or construction projects.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Experience working with boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, piping systems, or heavy industrial structures.
• Ability to perform accurate measuring, fitting, alignment, fabrication, and assembly work.
• Physically fit with the stamina required for demanding industrial work.
• Able to work in remote mining environments and challenging worksite conditions.
• Good understanding of industrial workplace safety procedures.
• Knowledge of confined-space safety, hot-work requirements, and proper PPE use.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
• Responsible, hardworking, safety-conscious, and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, assemble, and install boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems.
• Fabricate and assemble structural and mechanical components according to project specifications.
• Align and secure structures using bolts, rivets, welds, and other appropriate fastening methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and fit metal components accurately according to specifications.
• Perform fitting and fabrication work on boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and industrial piping systems.
• Assist with welding and preparation of joints and connections as required.
• Inspect completed structures and components for proper alignment, fit, and workmanship.
• Inspect boilers and pressure vessels for cracks, leaks, corrosion, deformation, and other defects.
• Identify damaged or defective components and report required repairs or corrective actions.
• Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance work on industrial equipment and structures when required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, cutting equipment, and fabrication machinery safely.
• Ensure fabricated and installed components meet required dimensions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Follow approved work procedures, technical instructions, and project requirements.
• Observe strict safety requirements for confined spaces, hot work, working at heights, and other hazardous activities.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, mechanics, supervisors, engineers, and other project personnel.
• Report safety hazards, equipment defects, structural concerns, and other worksite issues promptly.
• Perform other boilermaker, fabrication, installation, and maintenance duties assigned by management.
