Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced Beef Cattle Farmers for deployment to Australia. The successful candidate will manage large-scale cattle farming operations, ensuring proper livestock care, productivity, and overall farm efficiency.

BEEF CATTLE FARMER

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Beef Cattle Farmer.
• Must have experience handling a farm with at least 500 head of cattle.
• Hands-on experience in cattle feeding, health monitoring, breeding, and general farm operations.
• Strong knowledge of livestock management, animal health, and pasture management.
• Ability to operate farm equipment and handle large-scale cattle operations safely.
• Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor and rural farm environments.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a farm team.
• Basic knowledge of farm safety procedures and livestock welfare standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of beef cattle farming, including feeding, watering, and herd supervision.
• Monitor cattle health, behavior, and productivity, and report any issues to management or veterinarians.
• Assist in breeding programs, calving, and livestock record keeping.
• Ensure proper pasture rotation, grazing management, and feed allocation.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of farm facilities, equipment, and livestock areas.
• Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment when required.
• Follow animal welfare guidelines, farm safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Support vaccination, treatment, and livestock health programs.
• Coordinate with farm supervisors and team members to ensure smooth farm operations.
• Maintain accurate records of herd size, health status, and production activities.
