AutoCad Draftsman

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman (or equivalent experience).
• Proven proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 3D modeling capabilities.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with fire protection industry and terminology (a plus).

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards and industry best practices.
• Develop detailed fabrication drawings based on engineering sketches and specifications.
• Assist engineers with drafting tasks, including generating shop drawings, layouts, and assembly instructions
• Extract and manage drawing data for BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and other purposes.
• Collaborate with engineers and other departments to ensure drawings meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest AutoCAD features and industry standards.
