Autolakovna Company is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Auto Body Technician (Panel Beater) in Slovakia. Applicants must have relevant hands-on experience in automotive body repair and panel beating, with practical skills in repairing damaged vehicle body panels and restoring vehicles to their proper condition.
Auto Body Technician (Panel Beater)
Qualifications:
- Must have relevant work experience in the automotive vehicle repair, bodywork, and painting industry.
- Must have hands-on experience in vehicle body repair and panel beating.
- Must possess practical skills relevant to the Auto Body Technician position.
- Knowledge of automotive body repair tools, equipment, and repair techniques is required.
- Experience in preparing vehicle surfaces for painting and refinishing is an advantage.
- Must be able to follow technical instructions and workshop safety procedures.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle bodies to identify dents, damage, and structural or cosmetic defects.
- Repair damaged vehicle panels and body components using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform panel beating, straightening, reshaping, and alignment of vehicle body parts.
- Remove and replace damaged panels and components when necessary.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for repair, painting, and refinishing.
- Assist with sanding, filling, smoothing, and finishing repaired surfaces.
- Coordinate with automotive painters to ensure repaired surfaces are ready for painting.
- Use automotive repair tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Check completed repairs to ensure quality and proper alignment.
- Follow workshop procedures and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.
