South Avenues Saloon & SPA Company For Ladies is seeking qualified and experienced Assistant Massage Therapists to support its professional wellness and spa team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will assist massage therapists in preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies, provide basic massage techniques under supervision, and ensure clients receive courteous, professional, and comfortable service.

ASSISTANT MASSAGE THERAPIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• High school graduate or graduate of a massage therapy or wellness training program.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in a related field is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic massage techniques and proper client handling.
• Ability to perform basic massage techniques under the direction of a qualified massage therapist.
• Good understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and treatment-room preparation.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Courteous, respectful, patient, and professional when dealing with clients.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with massage and spa treatment activities.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, client comfort, and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to follow instructions and established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the assigned massage therapist in providing professional massage and wellness services.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each client appointment.
• Arrange and prepare massage tables, towels, oils, linens, and other treatment supplies.
• Ensure all massage equipment and treatment materials are clean, sanitized, and ready for use.
• Assist the massage therapist during client preparation and treatment procedures.
• Perform basic massage techniques under the direction and supervision of the assigned massage therapist.
• Follow instructions regarding massage techniques, pressure, positioning, and treatment procedures.
• Help clients prepare for treatments and ensure their comfort and privacy.
• Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the treatment process.
• Replace and properly store towels, linens, oils, and other spa supplies after each treatment.
• Monitor the availability of massage oils, creams, towels, disposable items, and other supplies.
• Report damaged equipment, insufficient supplies, or treatment-room issues to the supervisor.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and professional customer service at all times.
• Communicate with clients regarding basic treatment preparation and direct specific concerns to the assigned therapist.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow salon and spa policies, safety procedures, hygiene standards, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing treatment environment.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing spa areas and equipment as required.
• Coordinate with massage therapists, reception staff, and other salon personnel to ensure smooth client service.
• Assist with other wellness, spa, and treatment-room duties assigned by management.
