Germany to hire 600 Registered Nurses (DMW-GPB and TWP Germany Nurses vacancies)

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is accepting applications for 600 Filipino registered nurses for partner hospitals and elderly care centers in Germany under the Triple Win Project (TWP).

The TWP, which started in 2013, has been commissioned by the German Federal Employment Agency (ZAV/BA) and is being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschafts fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in partnership with the Philippines’s Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through the POEA — Government Placement Bureau (GPB).

The TWM is being implemented in the Philippines, Bosnia, Tunisia, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, and soon in Jordan.

To date, the Project has deployed nurses in major hospital partners in Germany. Some of these nurses have already been promoted to higher positions while others are expanding their knowledge by pursuing further academic studies to strengthen their career.

Since this is a government-to-government arrangement, the TWP covers the following:

  • Free German Language training (from Al-B1 level)
  • Bonus payment for passing A2 and B1 on first take (250 euro)
  • Free translation of recognition documents and certification
  • Travel expenses (visa and airfare)
  • Assistance in finding suitable accommodation once you are in Germany

The application is open to all Filipino registered nurses with at least one (1) year related professional experience (bedside) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and/or care institutions or private duty nurse.

Interested applicants are required to:

(a) have German language proficiency of B1 or B2 Level in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (certificate should be within 1 year from date of issuance.
(b) or undergo German language training in the Philippines to attain Level B1 (to be paid and organized by Triple Win); and
(c) attend the language class which may start anytime from November 2022 to January 2023.

Applicants who already have B1 and/or 82 certificates and were issued more than 1 year shall take the language assessment. The TWP offers free refresher course.

  • Board Certificate and copy of license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
  • Certificates of employment in related field (previous and current) (to be notarized upon acceptance to the Program)
  • Attendance and/or level certificate for German language, if available
  • Copy of valid passport

*Please note that nursing homes in Germany are inpatient facilities, where geriatric nurses deal with older people in need for help with different health conditions (unlike being a Private Duty Nurse).

BENEFITS:

  • New Salary Rate: Successful candidates shall have a starting monthly salary of €2,300 / PHP 132,410 (gross/exchange rate 1 Euro x 57 PHP) which will be increase to € 2,800 / PHP 161,195 (gross/ exchange rate 1 Euro x 57 PHP) after recognition as a qualified nurse.
  • Translation of recognition documents and certification will be paid by the employer including the medical checks.
  • Bonus payment: for passing the A2 and B1 of € 250 (each level or its PESO equivalent) in first take
  • Travel Expenses: The employer will pay the visa and airfare from the Philippines to Germany.
  • Board and Lodging: The employer will organize/assist the employee in finding a suitable accommodation. The selected nurse will bear the expenses in full or in part of the board and lodging

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Filipino citizen and permanent resident of the Philippines
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Active Philippine Nursing License
  • At least one (1) year related professional experience (bedside) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and/or care institutions or private duty nurse.
  • Applicants must have German language proficiency of B1 or B2 Level in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the certificate should be within 1 year from date of issuance
  • or willing to undergo German language training in the Philippines to attain Level B1 (to be paid and organized by Triple Win)
  • and MUST be able to attend the language class which may start anytime from November 2022-January 2023;
  • Applicants whose B1 and B2 certificates were issued more than 1 year shall retake the language assessment. TWP offers free refresher course
