Housekeeping Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field is required.
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Vocational Diploma, or Short Course Certificate in Hospitality/Tourism Management, Personal Services, Building/Ground Services, or similar fields.
- Experience in scheduling employee shifts, monitoring attendance, training new hires, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Experience in conducting inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and functional.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of housekeeping standards, sanitation procedures, and facility maintenance practices.
- Ability to manage teams and ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Physically fit and capable of working in facility and site environments.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations across assigned facilities.
- Schedule staff shifts, monitor attendance, and manage workforce deployment.
- Train new housekeeping staff and conduct performance evaluations.
- Inspect rooms, facilities, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
- Enforce sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures across all housekeeping operations.
- Coordinate with management regarding maintenance needs and operational concerns.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping performance, staffing, and supply usage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and service standards.
