Lifting Engineer

Qualifications:

Male applicants preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; 3D modelling experience preferred
Proven experience in lifting plan preparation, risk assessment, and method statements
Ability to perform technical calculations for lifting operations
Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) for technical and certification purposes

Responsibilities:

Prepare lifting plans using CAD software (AutoCAD 2D required; 3D modelling preferred)
Conduct ground bearing pressure calculations and sling Working Load Limit (WLL) calculations
Verify lifting lugs and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Develop method statements and risk assessments for lifting operations
Ensure lifting operations comply with safety regulations and project specifications
Coordinate with project teams to execute lifting tasks efficiently
Communicate effectively in English for technical documentation, calculations, and certification processes (e.g., Aramco)
