Auto Technician / Mechanic (Hybrid)

Qualifications:

• High school Graduate or ALS certified
• With a related TESDA National Certificate (NC) or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with Chinese automotive brands, including both electric and non-electric models (e.g., JAC, Jetour Motors, Chery, Foton, BYD, MG, and GAC)
• Valid driver’s license preferred (for 4-wheel vehicles and above).
• Can converse in English

Responsibilities:

• Strong technical background in diesel and gasoline engines.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, braking, electrical).
• Ability to diagnose, repairs, and maintain modern automotive technologies.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, scanners, and workshop equipment.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid vehicle systems.
• Perform accurate diagnostics of mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering systems, and other major components.
• Conduct and supervise routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and tune-ups.
• Identify potential mechanical failures and perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete job cards, repair reports, and service documentation accurately.
• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
