We’re hiring dedicated Electrical Engineering Technicians to assist engineers, ensure system reliability, and contribute to environments where safety, accuracy, and performance matter for leading employers across Australia.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Residential (Building) Electrician, specializing in electrical wiring installations for power, lighting, and control circuits
• Strong experience in assembling and connecting electrical components such as switchboards, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting fixtures
• Proficient in testing electrical systems (voltage, insulation resistance, continuity, and load testing)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics accurately
• Knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and techniques used in residential and commercial installations
• Ability to work on both residential and commercial electrical projects
• A valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential
• Must either be IELTS exempt or have passed an IELTS test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical wiring for power, lighting, and control circuits in residential and commercial projects
• Assemble and connect electrical components, including switchboards, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting fixtures, and appliances
• Test electrical systems for functionality, including voltage, insulation resistance, continuity, and load testing
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and plans to ensure correct installation and wiring
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and maintaining electrical systems
• Follow safety regulations and industry standards while performing all tasks
• Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure electrical systems are reliable and efficient
• Maintain and organize tools, materials, and equipment required for electrical installations
• Ensure that all work is completed within project timelines and to high-quality standards
