PROJECT PLANNING ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Experience in oil & gas, EPC, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling techniques.
- Additional Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail in tracking and reporting project progress.
- Knowledge of resource optimization and project risk management.
- Effective communication skills for reporting to management and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Define project scope, work breakdown structure (WBS), and activity sequencing.
- Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against planned milestones.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks or delays.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align project timelines.
- Track project performance and prepare progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts.
- Analyze resource allocation and optimize manpower, equipment, and materials planning.
- Evaluate project changes and assess impacts on schedule and cost.
- Support project controls, including cost tracking and earned value analysis (EVM).
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights to management.
