Trenkwalder (EGE) is seeking a qualified MAG Welder to perform welding and metal fabrication work in the production of encapsulated conductors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Welder (MAG)

Qualifications:

• Valid MAG Welding License.
• Experience in MAG welding and metalworking operations.
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication documentation is an advantage.
• Appropriate health condition and physical fitness for industrial welding activities.
• Willing to undergo and pass the required medical examination.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Medical Examination Requirements:

• The position requires fitness for work under the following occupational exposure conditions:
  • Dust and welding fumes – Category 3
  • Chemical substances (Ozone) – Category 2
  • Chemical substances (Manganese) – Category 4
  • Noise exposure – Category 3
  • Total physical load – Category 2
  • Non-ionizing electromagnetic field radiation – Category 3
  • Hand vibration exposure – Category 2
  • Local muscle load – Category 3

Responsibilities:

• Perform MAG welding operations according to technical specifications and production requirements.
• Carry out metalworking and fabrication tasks in the production of encapsulated conductors.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical documentation.
• Prepare, position, and align metal components before welding.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and workstations in proper working condition.
  Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report defects, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns to supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives within the production facility.
