Licensed Practical Nurse
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 2 years clinical experience in a relevant nursing field after successful completion of BSN
- OR 3 years clinical experience in a relevant nursing field after completion of Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
- Valid nursing license/registration (if required by the employer or regulatory body)
- Physically fit and mentally prepared to work in a clinical environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under supervision, including monitoring vital signs and observing patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and basic clinical procedures
- Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures and patient care
- Provide patient education and emotional support
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
