Working International Resourcing Limited is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic with experience in inboard and outboard marine engines. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and related systems, ensuring high performance and safety standards in marine environments across Australia.
Motor Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic with marine engine expertise
- Strong knowledge of inboard and outboard engines (Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, Honda, Volvo, Penta, etc.)
- Ability to diagnose and repair engine and electrical systems
- Familiarity with marine workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Physically fit and able to work in workshop and marine environments
- Willingness to work in Australia
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair marine engines (inboard and outboard) from brands such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury, Honda, Volvo, Penta, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing (oil changes, filter replacement, spark plugs, fuel systems, etc.)
- Troubleshoot engine performance issues and electrical problems
- Repair or replace engine components, cooling systems, and fuel systems
- Perform engine tune-ups, alignment, and calibration
- Conduct sea trials and performance testing as required
- Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness
- Coordinate with supervisors and clients for repair schedules
