BOILERMAKER
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Strong welding and metal fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with Australian safety standards and workplace practices (preferred)
- Physically fit and able to work in industrial and construction environments
- Willingness to work in Australia
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, tanks, boilers, and pressure vessels
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Cut, shape, and fit metal plates, pipes, and components
- Perform welding (SMAW, MIG, TIG, etc.) and metal joining operations
- Perform quality checks and inspection of welds and fabricated structures
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work as required
- Ensure work is completed safely and according to project specifications
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site
