Pool Technician

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in pool maintenance or facilities maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of pool systems, water chemistry, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Pool water testing and chemical balancing
• Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Preventive maintenance
• Recordkeeping and documentation
• Safety awareness and compliance
• Communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and safety of swimming pools and related aquatic facilities.
• Ensures water quality, equipment functionality, and compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for users.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly pool maintenance tasks
• Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
• Inspect, operate, and maintain pool equipment, including: Pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders
• Clean pools, decks, drains, skimmers, and surrounding areas
• Monitor water clarity and sanitation levels
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair pool system issues
• Maintain accurate records of chemical usage, water tests, and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with local health codes, safety regulations, and facility policies
• Respond to pool-related emergencies and safety concerns
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs or inspections
• Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
