ORTHOPEDIC FOOTWEAR MAKER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
- Vocational or TESDA certificate
Responsibilities:
- Patient Consultation & Measurement: Consult with patients/prescribers, take detailed foot measurements, and sometimes casts to understand specific needs.
- Design & Planning: Interpret prescriptions/specifications, select appropriate lasts, materials (leather, orthotic devices), and plan construction.
- Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble shoe parts (uppers, insoles, outsoles) using hand tools and machinery, ensuring proper alignment and support.
