Industrial Electrician

Qualifications:

• Diploma of Associate Engineering in electrical technology
• With at least 3 to 5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and motor control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to recycling machines, generators, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to VFDs, soft starters, and motor control systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs that control and monitor recycling machinery without programming involvement.
• Troubleshoot and maintain sensors (e.g., proximity, temperature, pressure) used in recycling machines for monitoring and control functions.
• Ensure proper integration and communication between sensors and PLCs to optimize machine performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot generator electrical issues, including control panel wiring, voltage management, and synchronization (sync).
• Wire and configure control panels for generators, ensuring proper connections and integration with the overall electrical system.
• Preferred knowledge of DSE controllers for monitoring and controlling generator functions, including fault diagnostics, load management, synchronization, and overall performance.
• Maintain accurate records of routine checks, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on recycling machinery and generators.
