Cupper / Body Maker Operator

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate
• 2-3 years experience

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible that all Cans that are passed from Body maker is 100% compliant for smooth operation of Washer, Decorator, Necker. All cans are free from over / under trimming and defective free.
• Will perform all quality and functional tests (Top /Mid/Low Wall, Dome Depth, Can Height , Visual Checks).
• Will check for all any mal-function of Bodymaker at the start of the shift and correct, same would be informed to Supervisior, Previous and next shift colleagues with elaboration.
• Responsible to meet shift production targets and to improve machine outputs with reduction in spoilage.
• Will be responsible for Machine Downtime due to improper maintenance of Domer Alignment, Trimmer, Ram Seal, RCF, Excess tool change.
• Ensuring that Tooling Combinations are followed for smooth running of bodymaker.
• Will co-ordinate with Washer and Cupper team for any assistance.
• Will be responsible for Proper Setting and Punch Cross hatching of Bodymaker.
• Complete record updating and reporting of material consumptions, maintenance, quality checks, production KPIs, etc. Ensuring that no facts are hidden from seniors.
• Will imbibe awareness in reports, read and refer machine manual and technical notes frequently.
• Will take fully responsibility for smooth precise Size Change-overs and start up by following standard procedures and ensuring conversion parts are clean and complete in preparation for the next changeover.
• Maintenance of Body Maker machine and Trimmer.
• Observing & raising alarms for can quality at Bodymaker out feed, (Eg. Untrimmed cans, Dome Crack, etc).
• Will be responsible for all tools lost which are in his possession.
• Will be responsible for clean and safe work area (5S, GMP, ISO, IMS, WCM and HACCP systems must be strictly observed). This include maintaining all conveyors, covers, trackwork clean at all time. All fallen cans/cups, etc must be removed from the production area immediately.
• Ensuring all raw materials (eg. Oil etc) to be used are prepared for every start of the shift, controlling the oil consumption
• Checking the condition of the machine regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness and good operating conditions. Includes filling up the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual checklist
• Maintaining order on the workplace in accordance with the binding WCM standard.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by Superior from time to time
• Will be responsible that all Cups that are passed from Cupper is 100% okay for smooth operation of Bodymaker. all Cups are free from earing, wrinkles, defective free.
• Will perform all quality and functional test ( Cup Lube, Visual Checks ).
• Will check for all any mal-funtion of cupper at the start of shift and correct, same would be informed to Supervisior, Previous Shift Colleague.
• Responsible to meet shift production target and to improve machine outputs with reduction in spoilage.
• Will correctly track coil in initial cut.
• Will co-ordinate with Washer and Bodymaker team for any assistance.
• Setting parameters of Lubrication Unit and Blow Off Pressure etc parameters will be followed for smooth function of both Cupper and Good cups.
• Will take full responsibility for smooth precise Size Change-overs and Start up by following standard procedures and ensuring conversion parts are clean and complete in preparation for the next changeover.
• Maintenance of Cupper machine and die tooling assembly and disassembly ( cut edge, draw pad, punch, stock plate, blank and draw etc.)
• Ensuring that Coil Run List is followed everytime and all raw materials (eg. aluminum body stock, oil) to be used are prepared for every start of the shift
• Complete ownership of Coil Non conformity area & affix label to each Non conformity coil with full details.
• Proper labeling to scrap pallets with full details & duly signed on day to day basis

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
