Palletizer Operator / Specialist

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate
• 2-3 years experience

Responsibilities:

• Will be responsible that all Cans that are passed from the palletiser are 100% defective free forsafe storage and dispatching to customer end. All Cans should be free from oil, dirt, contamination, litho, and other visual defective free.
• Will perform all quality and functional tests (strap tension, overwrap tension, visual checks, etc.)
• Will maintain condition of palletiser at the start of shift and correct any mechanical/electrical concerns, same would be informed to Supervisor, Previous and next shift colleague.
• Responsible to meet shift production target and to improve machine outputs with reduction in spoilage by controlling Can falling on conveyors.
• Will be responsible for planning activities for any downtime in shift.
• Will be responsible for all clear communication about all activities / incidences to the next shift colleagues.
• Will co-ordinate with Necker, Decorator, Chemical, Body Maker, and quality team for any assistance.
• Will be responsible for proper Setting of machine parameters for smooth operations.
• Complete record updating and reporting of material consumptions, maintenance, quality checks, production KPIs, etc. Ensuring that no facts are hidden from seniors.
• Will imbibe awareness in reports, read and refer machine manual and technical notes frequently.
• Will be responsible for Preventive check of complete machine on daily basis.
• Maintenance on the palletiser, strapper, wrapper, hoist, and conveying machinery, checking parts & replacing them as and when required to avoid breakdown and spoilage.
• Will take full responsibility for smooth precise Size Change-overs and start up by following standard procedures and ensuring conversion parts are clean and complete in preparation for the next changeover.
• Observing & raising alarms for can quality.
• Will be responsible for all tools lost which are in his possession.
• Inspecting packing raw material conditions.
• Will be responsible for clean and safe work area (5S, GMP ISO, IMS, WCM and HACCP systems must be strictly observed). This include maintaining all conveyors, covers, trackwork clean at all time. All fallen cans etc must be removed from the production area immediately .
• Ensuring all raw materials (eg pallets, frames, overwrap, strap etc) to be used are prepared for every start of the shift.
• Checking the condition of the machine regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness and good operating conditions. Includes filling up the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual checklist
• Maintaining order on the workplace in accordance with the binding WCM standard.
• Operating of machinery and conducting line clearances.
• Overseeing any sorting activities.
• Perform other functions that may be assigned by Superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
