ELECTRICAL WORKER (LINEMAN)

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Maximum of 42 years old
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission line work
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and linework procedures
  • Ability to work at heights and in high-risk environments

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical transmission lines and related equipment
  • Work on both overhead and underground electrical systems
  • Operate specialized equipment such as digger derricks, aerial lifts, and tensioning tools
    Ensure safe and reliable delivery of electrical power
  • Follow strict safety protocols when working with high-voltage systems and at heights
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of electrical line issues
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors, especially during emergencies
  • Perform physically demanding tasks in various weather and site conditions

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in using specialized lineman tools and equipment
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and electrical regulations
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical fitness and endurance
  • Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
