Certified Public Accountant

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor Degree majoring in accounting
• Preferably Certified Public Accountant
• A minimum of 5 years financial accounting and auditing experience with a accountancy
• A comprehensive knowledge of Xero accounting functions and setups to enable conversions and training of personnel
• Experience in working in a Windows PC computerized environment and in particular with the following applications Microsoft Office & MYOB
• Be fluent in English or French and Bislama would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients to prepare statutory financial statement and auditing in accordance with International Financial Reporting
  Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards
• Reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and maintaining subsidiary accounts and the general ledger.
• Recording, verifying, and consolidating transactions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other areas.
• Working with various accounting software and systems.
• Assisting with the development of budgets and forecasts
