RADIOGRAPHIC FILM INTERPRETER TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Experience with Aramco’s strict safety and quality standards is a must.
• Valid Aramco RTFI card. As an RTFI Inspector, you will carry out inspections of equipment and machinery using advanced techniques to detect defects that could affect their safety and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating the RT results and signing off RT reports.
• Interpreting RT Films being an approved RTFI from Saudi Aramco in addition to Level II certification.
• Review RT reports before signature and to ensure that no corrections and NO BODY overwrites on the reports.
• Prepare RT reports with films and assessment sheet package for submitting to OID RTFI for final assessment.
• Providing final assessment reports to the NDT Coordinator, QC Supervisor, and Data Entry Operator.
• Providing details to the Data Operator in case of any repairs.
• Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of work to avoid any type of incidents and or accidents. Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
• Compliance with all statutory requirements connected with the implementation of the project with the following approved procedures.
• An RTFI technician specializes in interpreting radiographic films to identify defects in materials, often within the context of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
• They are crucial for ensuring the safety and integrity of structures and components by detecting flaws like cracks, corrosion, or weld defects without causing damage.
