Quantity Surveyor

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience for QS
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience for QS + UAE Authority approvals + MRICS
• Prior experience in construction supervision or operation and maintenance of major roads, bridges, and infrastructure projects

Responsibilities:

• Handle post-contract functions, including interim and final payments, variations, cash flows, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Conversant with CESSM. Provide advice on contractual matters and ensure all requirements are met.
• Advise on contractor’s resource allocation and audit contractor payments.
• Ensure timely and complete submission of valuations.
• Record and check measurements of work completed.
• Prepare variations and day-works. Prepare financial statements for monthly reporting.
