ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Must have broad knowledge in industrial solar energy projects

Responsibilities:

  • Submits supplier cost comparison result to GM / CEO for further supplier approval.
  • Submits BOQ price to GM / CEO for further evaluation and comments.
  • Prepares value engineering study on material and equipment’s (if required).
  • Prepares final BOQ pricing as per CEO comments and evaluations.
  • Makes summary of BOQ prices, suppliers and brands used as the basis of commercial price offer.
  • Managing power generation, transmission and distribution.
  • Working with high and low voltage equipment.
  • Designing systems and products using computer software.
  • Working with renewable energy sources.
  • Managing and maintaining building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systems.
  • Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical developments.
  • Drawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment.
  • Budgeting and estimating timescales. Overseeing technicians and craftspeople.
  • Testing installations and systems. Ensuring projects meet safety regulations
  • Overseeing inspection and maintenance programs. Managing maintenance programs.
  • Working in factories, power stations, or research facilities, in a workshop, an office or outdoors
